Judy Garland’s iconic ruby slippers from “The Wizard of Oz” are one of the most popular attractions at the National Museum of American History. But since their debut on the yellow brick road, the glittering, sequined shoes have faded and degraded while on display. In order to restore them, the museum launched a crowdfunding campaign.
